I've been paying a lot of attention to the news and I've come to a conclusion.

There is only one class of people who can legitimately mock the beliefs of other religions without the messy splashback of irony and hypocrisy:

While I've never been opposed to well-splashed irony, I hate hypocrisy and am pretty good at mocking things.

I have decided, therefore, I must be an atheist.

Let the mockery begin.

  1. The problem with most that you are mocking is they lack a sense of humor to appreciate the levels of subtlety and wit that are often laced with sarcasm.

Then again, like you - I say these things because I find them funny so if they can't appreciate the humor in it then f*ck 'em.

  2. If people ask me if I'm religious, I tell them I'm Buddhist.

And then tell them the reason is because you don't see a lot of Buddhists killing others to spread their beliefs.
